The 161MHz frequency is highly resistant to both natural and man-made electrical interference. This makes it an ideal choice for mining sites, agricultural areas and heavy industrial settings where electrical noise is common.

Yes, each channel in the FMT161 series is transmitted individually. This allows for simultaneous channel transmission, meaning you can activate more than one function at the same time without signal collision.

The FMT16108E requires a 12V DC power supply with a current consumption of 85mA during transmission and a very low standby current of 10uA.

The system uses a 12-way DIP switch for digital coding. To pair the devices, simply match the 12-way DIP switch settings on the transmitter to those on your FMR161 series receiver. It is recommended to change these from the factory default for security.

The FMT16108E is fully compliant with the Radio Spectrum Management (RSM) regulatory standards of New Zealand. This ensures that the device operates within the permitted radio frequency bands, maintaining safety and minimizing interference with other wireless equipment.

The FMT16108E is designed to interface with any  Normally Open (NO) voltage-free contact. This includes push buttons, toggle switches, reed switches, or relay contacts from other control systems.

The FMT161 series is fully compatible with all Elsema FMR161 series receivers.

The transmitter provides 4 user selectable frequencies within the 161MHz band. These can be adjusted via a 3 way DIP switch on the board, allowing multiple systems to operate in the same vicinity without interfering with one another.

Yes, the transmitter includes an antenna connection (SO239 socket), and for optimum performance, the Elsema ANT161M is recommended
