RXD-101
Decoder for Multi-channel Receiver System

• Supply 8 Volts DC, minimum 7 Volts DC, absolute maximum 11 Volts DC.

• Current consumption of each decoder is approximately 10mA at 8 Volts DC.

• If LED is used on the output, replace wire link with suitable resistor.

• Output transistor (BC337) may switch up to 100mA and up to 24VDC.

• If switching inductive loads (relays), no diode across relay is necessary to protect output transistor.

• For latching on applications install latching diode (IN914), same direction as existing IN914.

• To unlatch the 8 Volts supply must be interrupted momentarily.

• Above connections are drawn as “View to component side”.

• For panel mounting the RXD-101 use a 6-way , 156” edge connector : Elsema part Number : 6W-edge.

• Printed Circuit Board dimensions 59 X 39 mm.

Assembly Circuit For Multi-Channel Receiver

Assembley Instructions

Notes:

• Select LED-resistor on RXD-101 card to suit current through LED.

• If relay is used in place of LED, bridge out LED resistor.

• LED or relay will only be ON if corresponding decoder is ON.

• Relay “Z” will be energized if any decoder is ON

• When designing power supply, provide 7 mA for FMR-100 and 10mA for each decoder.

• Absolute maximum voltage on 8.volt rail is 11 VDC, higher voltage will damage decoder.

• Latching and non-latching decoders may be used in one system.

• FMR-100 and RXD-101 operates normally on 8VDC (Minimum 7 VDC and maximum 10 VDC)

• If latching decoders are used provide N/C reset button in positive supply line.

• Absolute maximum input voltage to regulator REG-108 is 40 VDC

• Antenna, use 1 to 2 metres straight wire. Install antenna away from metal parts.

• For panel mounting the RXD-101 use a 6-way , 156” edge connector : Elsema part Number : 6W-edge
