Pentacode® is not just another garage door rolling code remote. Its concept was designed and developed in Australia by award winning design engineers. Engineers who saw an opportunity to bring out the next generation of remote controls with a dual coding system operating on five different frequencies.
The dual coding system gives the installer the option to use the classic 12-way dip switch coding or to use one of over 17 billion encrypted codes.
With the 12-way dip switch just match the keyring remotes and the receivers dip switch and its coded. No need for clumsy programmers, memory chips or computer databases to store the code.
With the encrypted code you switch all the 12-way dip switches OFF and the remote and receiver automatically goes into the encrypted coding. Click here to download programming instructions.
The name "Pentacode®" comes from the five sided shape "Pentagon". Each side represents the five different operating frequencies. Either the dip switch code or the encypted code is simultaneously transmitted on the five different frequencies. This make it impossible for the remotes to be interfered or jammed.
What makes the Elsema Pentacode® system superior than the normal garage door rolling code remotes?
1. Over 17 billion encrypted code combination making it one of the most secure remote controls on the market.
2. Uses frequency hopping spread spectrum (FHSS). Pentacode® remotes simultaneously transmits the encrypted code on five different frequencies. This makes it impossible for your remote control to be interfered or jammed.
3. Two remotes in one. The Pentacode® remotes use encrypted code and for people who want to keep it simple, the traditional 12-way dip switch system is included.
4. The case, electronics and coding system was designed in Australia for the harsh and rugged conditions we have in Australia.
5. Service. Elsema has been innovating new remote control technologies for over 30 years and our service will be there for many more years to come.
6. Cost. With our vast experience in remote controls we are able to keep the cost to a very competitive level.
The Pentacode® remotes are available with 2 or 4 buttons with custom print available for the front labels.
The receiver comes as a plug in type, standalone or enclosed in a case that is weather proof. The enclosed receiver has a built in antenna specially tuned to the 5 operating frequencies. No need for messy installations with external antennas.
