Description
The LF24, Line Filter can be used for 12 VAC/DC, 24VAC/DC (Absolute max. 50VAC/DC), inputs and outputs. The function of the line filter is to attenuate electrical noise. More than 30dB (X1000) attenuation is possible between 400KHz to 2.0MHz. See chart below for more information.

Not for 240 VAC Applications
The line filter must not be used for 240 VAC applications. If electrical noise occurs on 240 VAC either a varistor or capacitor is used.
The varistor or capacitor is connected in parallel with the device generating the electrical noise. For example, if a contactor is switched using a Gigalink receiver relay the varistor or capacitor is connected across the contactor coil.
Elsema stocks the 275 VAC varistor (Elsema Part # 17534) and 10 nF Ceramic –20 +80% 1000 Volt capacitor (Elsema Part # 23411).
