Description
The FMR-232R is a two-channel receiver with supply, antenna, RS232C and relay connections. The receiver is enclosed in Elsema's black UBB plastic case.
The FMR-232R receiver is used to monitor the transmission of remote control transmitters using computer database software.
The software runs on an IBM computer and has a database to which it records the transmitter identity every time the transmitter is used. Each transmitter can have up to five different identifiers. For example, the name, phones, fax and address of a person using the transmitter.
Up to five hundred different transmitters can be entered into the database.
The software can be configured to prompt the computer user an alarm dialog box when a transmitter is transmitted. It can even operate two different relay outputs. Each relay has a software momentary mode.
A demo version of the software can be downloaded from here. If the hardware receiver and transmitter are to be used, the registered software must be purchased.
All FMT-… series transmitter can be used with this registered software.
A proper 27 MHz CB-Antenna will give a reliable control range of up to 200 metres, when used with Elsema’s FMT-301, FMT-302, FMT-304 transmitters. If a CB-Antenna is used, the shield of the cable must be connected to the "Sh terminal".
