All 151MHz transmitters and receivers purchased after 1st March 2009 have 7 selectable frequencies. Users are advised to change the default frequency of 151.600 MHz to another frequency if operating within Sydney or Brisbane area. A community radio station also operates on 151.600MHz and will interfere with the receivers resulting in a reduced operating range.
The 151MHz receivers have 5 signal strength LED’s indicating the strength of the receiving signal. During installations if more then 3 LED’s are ON without any transmission, than the user should select a different frequency. This indicates that there is interference and your receiving range will be greatly reduced. Refer to the picture below.

The frequency can be changed by setting the 3-way dipswitch on the transmitter and receiver module (Refer to the picture above). The transmitter should always have the same setting as the receiver in order to operate. Below is a table showing the different frequencies.
